Style as personal branding: people treat you the way they see you.

I believe your outfit, like everything else, should make you feel something. Life is full of emotions, that's what makes it special, and your clothing should reflect that.

WHEN I STARTED REFINING MY STYLE

I believe your outfit, like everything else, should make you feel something. Life is full of emotions, that's what makes it special, and your clothing should reflect that.

Style is a form of expression, and what you wear will actually change your experience on a certain day, event, or location. Speaking from personal experience as a world traveler, some of my best moments have happened when I've paired a location-appropriate outfit that I felt confident in with a wonderful adventure.

There's something holistically beautiful about matching your outfit to your mood, location, and your intention for the day ahead. Simply putting on an outfit that makes you feel empowered and confident can make the difference between you landing that business deal or flopping it. The same goes for a date, by putting on a sensual outfit, you'll be perceived as such.

There's a saying in Spanish I grew up hearing from my mother— 'como te ven te tratan' — which translates to 'people treat you the way they see you.' I think there's something so incredibly powerful in that, because it means you have control over how someone sees you.

Choosing an outfit for the day is like waking up and answering the question of 'who do I want to be today?' And if we take it a step further, we can also empower ourselves internally and change the relationship with ourselves through wear.

'Como te ven te tratan' doesn't just apply to the treatment we receive from others, but also to the way you treat yourself due to how you see and perceive you.

Tu ser aka your being, is highly influenced by your perception of it. Fashion has the power to not only change how the world sees you, but also to change the relationship with yourself.

Wouldn't life be more beautiful if you saw yourself through rose colored glasses? By choosing your outfits with intention, you get to choose how you want to feel today and everyday.

Improve your ser, choose fashion that reflects who you want to be.
